Amy Pontius Amy joined the Pet Indulgence team in November, 2011. Amy fell in love with animals at an early age. She grew up in Southern California where over the course of many years her family had chickens, cats, a dog, a turtle and an Angora bunny. During her adolescent years, she spent many hours volunteering with the local animal shelter in her hometown. It was through her education and experience volunteering that she vowed to always adopt her future pets from rescue organizations and shelters. Amy is married to Bailey, a firefighter, and is the mother of two girls, Emma and Avery, living in Petaluma. Their happy family of pets consists of two cats, Sophie and Cheddar, and a Golden Retriever named Bear. They bring joy and happiness to their household. In her spare time, Amy is also a personal trainer, who owns Riverfront Fitness Studio in Petaluma. She enjoys baking, walking with Bear on the local trails in town, running races, including triathlons, and volunteering at her children's school.

Becky Lewis Becky joined Pet Indulgence in March of 2013. She was born and raised in Petaluma. After getting married, she and her husband owned and operated a dairy in northern California where she took care of calves, chickens, dogs, cats, bunnies, and her three children. When Becky and her family moved back to Petaluma, where she worked as a bookkeeper, their animal family was reduced to a few cats. Later on, little Lucy was added, a King Charles Cavalier/Cocker Spaniel that Becky cannot imagine life without. She trained Lucy herself and she's the perfect family dog including the grandkids! When Becky's daughter moved and had to give up her dog, Becky gladly adopted him into the family. He is a Puggle named Oliver, and he and Lucy are truly the best of friends! Becky is very glad to be a part of Pet Indulgence, because animals are such an important part of people's families. She feels that they are like children and need the best care possible when their guardians cannot be there to care for them.

Christine Plociniak Christine joined Pet Indulgence in August, 2015. A long time resident of Petaluma, Christine has been infatuated with animals and their care since a young child who devored books on all types of pets and wildlife.  Her first job was at 14 working her way up the ladder from boarding kennel aid to full time veterinary assistant.  At nineteen she became a live in manager for a top East Coast professional dog handler couple where she solely care for anywhere from 25-75 dogs daily!  Experienced with many animal types, her special love is for dogs and she has reared, trained and shown dogs her whole life. A graduate of Penn State University, most recently her focus has been in supporting her son through the Waldorf educational system along the way enjoying her animals, gardening and children!  She loves being a part of the Pet Indulgence team because it gives her a place to put all that nurturing energy now that her son is in college.  She currently lives with three rare breed Blue Picardy Spaniels and enjoys alternative, holistic methods of care and raw diet to keep them in top form.  Her favorite things are still gardening, garden design, crafting and anything to do with her dogs-especially watching them cavorting in the waves at the beach!

Adam Bernard Adam joined Pet Indulgence in February of 2017. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, but moved to Santa Rosa in 2016 after living in New York for 33 years. He’s always been an animal lover, having grown up in a home that always had one or two cats, as well as turtles and lizards. Adam always loved dogs, but didn’t get a chance to be around them on a regular basis until after college when he started volunteering as a dog walker at an animal shelter in Manhattan. Shortly after, a pittie puppy named Astro became Adam’s sidekick for the next six years. Two years after welcoming Astro in to his home, he met his wife Tammy and her cat Mele. They all became family soon after. After working in national & local sports radio for over a decade, Adam decided it was time for a career change. Working with and being around animals is what makes him most happy, so he's currently taking classes at Santa Rosa Junior College with the goal of becoming a veterinary technician. Adam also volunteers as a dog walker at Sonoma County Animal Services. In his spare time, he likes to play/talk/watch hockey (usually with Mele asleep in his lap), go hiking, attend concerts, and read.
