"Your service is remarkable from start to finish! To meet with your clients in advance to familiarize yourself with the animals at no charge is generous. The peace of mind I had before the trip was great. Even with my follow-up calls prior to service, you were patient and detailed. You cannot improve perfection! Rarely have I felt so positive about a service experience (20 years Hotel, I'm a tough critic)...."  Suzanne P. - Petaluma, CA

Pete & Linda Alexander

Linda and Pete Alexander are 18-year residents of Sonoma County. For many years they were corporate managers, and when they had to be away on extended business trips, they had to leave behind Jenny (pictured left), their lovely Golden Retriever. They personally know how worrisome it can be to leave a pet alone for any period of time. They have hired pet sitters in the past, and know the qualities they would look for in an outstanding, caring pet sitter. Sadly, Jenny left them in the summer of 2003. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge to meet her sister Amber who had crossed before her. Linda Lou (below left), released from her training at Canine Companions for Independence, now sweetly graces their home.

Linda has been a dog walker and outreach volunteer for the San Francisco SPCA in the Mobile Adoption Outreach Program. Peter has been a volunteer in the veterinarian clinic, as well as a dog walker at CCI in Santa Rosa, and continues as a puppy socializer. Linda is a volunteer dog walker and puppy socializer there as well. They also foster puppies, service, breeder, and release dogs for CCI. Pete was also the Managing Editor of FETCH, a newspaper for dogs and their owners in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Alameda and San Francisco Counties.
Linda and Pete graduated from the Canine Behavior Academy at the Marin Humane Society in December, 2011.Linda and Pete believe in doing all they can for the environment. They drive fuel efficient, low emission vehicles to and from their pet sitting duties, and they use biodegradable pet waste bags and trash bags. They also converted their lawn to a year-round flowering garden that attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
